Filipa Sacadura

With a background in Agriculture, Filipa has dedicated her career to bridge the links between science and the business sector, firstly in the Portuguese agricultural, food and forestry sectors and then in the Portuguese biotechnology sector.
Filipa started her career as a Research Fellow on innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship at IN+ Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research, from the University of Lisbon. In 2011, she joined INOVISA, a private non-profit association dedicated to the promotion of innovation and the business development in the agri-food sector, where she coordinated the areas of Technology Transfer and Cooperation & Development. Since 2019, Filipa is the Secretary-General of P-BIO, the Portuguese Biotechnology Industry Association, where her mission is to promote the growth of the Portuguese Biotechnology ecosystem.
